The Agroecology TRANSECT project is exploring how best to 'tool up' and scale up agroecology across Europe, to support a resilient and profitable future.

What is our research hoping to achieve?

Our goal is to lay the groundwork for agroecology as the future of farming. To do this, we need to identify different types of agroecological initiatives that exist across Europe, and explore what conditions favour their development.

We need your help

This survey digs in to initiatives you may be part of, exploring its history, function, and your experience of the influence it has had on your local area.

The results will be gathered in an anonymous and public online database by the end of 2023.

What do you get for taking part?

If you're interested in learning more, participants are invited to join our special online session at the end 2023. This is a great opportunity to reflect on your own project as well as to learn from the wide range of people involved with lots of different farming practices across Europe.

The results of our work will be publicly shared and used to influence food and farming policy across the EU, so if you want to be part of the conversation, this is a great opportunity to share your views and experience and make the case for agroecology for farmers, advisors, policy makers and other stakeholders.

Who should fill in the survey?

This research is for any initiative involved in agroecological transition in the European Union, Switzerland or the United Kingdom.

Simply fill our this online survey. It takes maximum 45 minutes, and can be done at your own pace until the end of May 2023.
