Main goals of the project

To further develop the multi-species mixture system for herbal leys and permanent grassland.

Overview

To explore the options of climate change adaptation and mitigation, biodiversity enhancement, and socio-economic resilience at farm level. The Innovation Hub has teamed up with a PhD project investigating different types of pastures at different altitudes.

As part of the focus this includes:

• mixture development for leys
• co-creation of mixtures
• strengthen on-farm tests
• strengthen AGFF-quality label
• mixtures for higher altitude
• mixtures for drought (adaptation to climate change)
• increase diversity within mixtures (e.g. add forbs)
• decision together with stakeholders
