The European Union funds transdisciplinary research projects that bring together scientists, farmers, and other stakeholders to co-create practical knowledge for transforming agri-food systems.
However, achieving deep, lasting change is often hampered by systemic constraints that individual actors can't overcome alone.
Our project, Agroecology-TRANSECT, built on insights from 11 European Innovation Hubs, investigates both the potential of actionable knowledge to support transformative change and the systemic barriers that limit it – emphasising the need for supportive policies that evolve with real-world contexts.
